ABOUT

I learnt the flute as a kid, and still play, but my main instrument has been tenor sax for the past 25 years. Currently playing in a busy ska band but I am up for something a bit more adventurous where I can contribute. Jazz, funk influence would be good, but I have a ridiculously wide range of musical tastes and anyway, playing the sax is such a gas, I'm not too bothered what particular genre it is. I have played latin, smooth jazz, reggae, funk, classical, rock, blues and pop in my time so I'm pretty adaptable.

While the tenor is my main instrument, I've got soprano and alto as well, and have been playing clarinet for a couple of years. I can read music, have a good ear and have good all-round musical knowledge and ability. Contact me on billgibbon "at" dot com.
