ABOUT

Chippenham based singer/song writer/instrument player looking for a female singer for lead and harmony parts. Nothing too demanding. Do some folk clubs. Maybe a bit of recording. Playing an instrument would be a bonus but not essential. I'm Looking to be getting back into playing after a seven year break after perusing it quite relentlessly. Previous bands have done some pretty big things with some pretty big people but its always got to the point where the band couldn't commit to what came next including having to turn down recording contracts and massive support gigs with top tier performers. Its a long story best told over a drink. This time around i Have no expectations or long term goals. Just for fun but if such opportunities arose again I'm willing to take it as far it it can go. Search YouTube for Ed Hanfrey for stuff I've done in the past. Looking to do something similar as a duo to start with but maybe add extra people in the future if its working well.

Influences

Hard to say, really. I generally write songs around harmonies and different people singing different parts. I've described previous bands as a cross between The Seekers and The Beautiful South but my music tastes goes from Kate Rusby to Billy Joel to Iron Maiden and Led Zeppelin.
