This song is about anxiety and how it can often feel controlling. It makes us see things that are not true and I wanted to write a song on how sometimes these thoughts can get in the way. I have struggled with anxiety for pretty much my whole life and I try to write songs on important things like mental health, as a lot of people can relate to it and it is not discussed enough and has a lot of stigma towards it.
