Heyoo!

Ciarán here from Emerald State, an alternative rock band from Glasgow, and we’re looking for a female vocalist to join us. We’ve already released three singles and have a whole album written and recorded, so we’re in a good place to keep things moving with the right person on board.

Our previous singer was an amazing part of the band and brought so much to our music. She’s decided to step back to focus on other priorities, and while we’re sad to see her go, we fully support her decision. We’re really proud of what we achieved together and wish her all the best for the future. Now, we’re looking forward to finding someone new to help shape the next chapter for Emerald State.

Our music has a mix of heartfelt lyrics, big riffs, and a bit of giddy flair. We’re after someone who’s passionate about making music and feels at home both in the studio and on stage.

Here’s a bit about us:

Studio Space: We rehearse and record at Matchbox Sound, our own studio in Glasgow. It’s a vintage-inspired, laid-back space where we work on all our music. It’s basically home turf for us, so you’d have a chill and creative spot to settle into.

Live Gigs: We’ve played some great shows, and we’re ready to get back on stage with gigs, festivals, and tours. If you’re comfortable performing and connecting with an audience, that’s a huge plus.

Collaborative Vibes: We’re all about working together. If you’ve got ideas we want you to be part of shaping the band’s direction, we do everything as a team!

What we’re looking for:

Ideally, a female vocalist with a strong, versatile voice who’s into similar influences. Don’t worry if you feel a bit out of practice—we’re happy to work with someone who’s the right fit and help you find your groove.
Someone who’s confident on stage and enjoys performing live.
Ready to commit to rehearsals, recording, and gigs.
A genuine love for music and being part of a band.
