SEEKING
Band to Join.ABOUT
Lost in music, but sadly unable to quit my 9 to 5. Old enough to know better. Wondering if there are any like-minded souls who are interested in discussing imaginary bands (and possibly making them a reality). I like pop tunes with interesting arrangements and harmonies plus a bit of weirdness and fun thrown in. Creativity over technical proficiency every time.

Influences
Pop groups with creative vision, mystery, unexpected melodies, psychedelic overtones, nice arrangements. Loads and loads of old stuff that you can pick up for 20p at car boot sales.
Some random records I like: Chris Clark "Love's Gone Bad", Stereolab "French Disko", John Carpenter "Assault On Precinct 13", Tame Impala "Elephant", The Free Design "Bubbles", Espers "Flowery Noontide", Can "Mother Sky", The Easybeats "Friday On My Mind", Abba "SOS"
Curiouser and curiouser: Julian House, Billy Childish, Kim Deal, Syd Barrett, Serge G, John B and Jane B, Alice Coltrane, M.E.S., Stevie Wonder on drums and Moog, Rod, Jane and Freddy and the list goes on forever...
