ABOUT

Far Solar are a London-based band with decades of songwriting and performing experience, although the band itself was only formed in 2020.

Perfect World, released in 2023, and conceived during lockdown is a full length studio album evoking the feel and ambition of classic rock siphoning off influences from the full sweep of over 50 years of rock music - from pop to prog to new wave. Recognisable production motifs from the 70’s and 80’s blend with acoustic guitars, thundering basslines, dramatic drum passages, elegant piano parts, engaging vocals and lush harmonies.

Packed with sonically rich material, melodic songs elide with beautifully crafted instrumental passages, thrilling dynamic shifts and experimental arrangements. Soaring synthesiser parts sit seamlessly with bold and original electric guitar arrangements, creating a sound ranging from evocative instrumental to atmospheric rock and folk.

Albums 2 and 3 are in the works with 2025 and 2026 releases scheduled.
