Band to Join, Acoustic Guitar, Bass Guitar, Drums, Keyboard, Lead Guitar, Piano, Rhythm Guitar, Vocalist.ABOUT
Alright here goes …
I’ve recently gotten back into playing guitar after a hiatus - I had what can only be described as a “mini stroke” years ago after which I lost my ability to play, so out of frustration I sold my music gear and turned my back on it and instead focused on my acting/writing. I’m now back to basics but most importantly have rekindled my passion for all things guitar and music.
Yes, im very rusty - no amount of DW40 will fix it quickly, but I’m surely getting back to my old mediocre self but what I lack in talent I make up for with my passion, positivity and bringing biscuits, as well as having had some brief experience as a former music/band promoter back in London.
ANYWAY; I just want to join a band that doesn’t take themselves too painfully serious, but is superficial enough to not ever wear shorts on stage no matter how hot it gets and doesn’t mind me being a back to square one player wanting to genuinely relearn my lost skills. Also just miss the camaraderie of being in a band - don’t mind being the Bez of the group as long as I’m holding a guitar and not maracas. Bloody hell, this really is an unnecessarily long description isn’t it? Thanks for making it to the end
