Band to Join, Bass Guitar, Drums, Upright bass.

ABOUT

I am a serious hobbyist musician. Currently, I play mostly folk and jazz, and am actively looking to start a jazz trio.

In particular, I’m looking for an experienced jazz drummer and bassist (upright would be fantastic, but not necessary) to form a Julian Lage cover trio. Ideally, I’d like to play together every week or every two weeks, and when we master enough songs, I’d love also to perform (sporadically, or if regularly, every 3–6 weeks or something). You can see me playing Love Hurts at my office’s St. Patrick’s day party under my videos.

For context, I think Julian Lage is an absolutely brilliant jazz (fusion) guitarist, and I love playing his stuff. In particular, I have the sheet music (guitar and bass) to all his trio albums (Arclight, Modern Lore, Love Hurts, and Squint) and am super keen to master and perform my (and your) favorites from these albums.
