Mike Portnoy is my drumming hero, but the music I enjoy playing ranges from ABBA to Amy Winehouse, from Bon Jovi to the Beatles, from.... you get the idea.

EQUIPMENT

My main kit is DS (Drum Sounds) drums which are built in Italy and very rare in the UK. My second kit is a stylish black and white Mapex Mars with birch shells that sound fantastic when mic'd up. I also have a choice of Mapex, Remo and Pearl Snare drums. I have several sets of Cymbals, mostly Sabian or Meinl with a couple of top-of-the-range Zildjians mixed in. I have a full set of Shure & AKG drum mic's and my own PA system including powered stage monitors. I also have an electronic kit should the occasion or venue require.
