Hello. I'm in my 40's and tiring of playing covers, functions and weddings. I want to create some cool noise and release some tension and frustration. A midlife crisis? No, it's boredom!
I'd really like to record some stuff, find some decent gigs and be in a band, man! I'm not into "No", I can't deal with egos and I'm happy to start from scratch or join an existing band.
I'm thinking about a mix of Funk & Rock, late 80's early 90's vibe. A mash-up of Black Sabbath, David Bowie, Stevie Wonder, Clutch, James Brown, Queens of the Stoneage, Soundgarden, Living Colour, Fishbone, Rage Against the Machine. That sort of thing...
I've been playing for ages, I can do backing vocals and I'm easy going. If this rings any bells with anybody, please get in touch before I go out of my mind. Thanks for looking.
