Like to play stuff by great blues players, funk/soul players. Players who know how to make a song work and work with the drummer.If i like the the music, i will learn it, even if it's not a bassline.
I love all sorts of music and listen to music from many eras. If i had to be honest, i'm influenced by what i hear and don't follow individual players or bands specifically.
