Ok here's the deal. I was sat at work the other day listening to the latest Bowling for Soup album and this little thought popped into my head...
Bowling for Soup are currently undergoing a farewell tour so, having missed my chance, I'm probably never going to see them perform live. How to combat this little dilemma? Be IN Bowling for Soup!... sort of.
I'm a Bassist who for love of playing fun music and having a good time is looking to find ANYONE out there that might be interested in helping me put together a Bowling for Soup tribute band.
Who knows, it may not stay that way, we could easily start branching off into over covers and even into writing our own material but this seems like a decent way to get to meet some like minded musicians out there. I know where to go to meet musicians round these parts so giving this a shot.
Looking in the Shrewsbury/Welshpool/Oswestry/Newtown region and surrounding areas. Anyone interested, get in touch and let's have a laugh.
Also Looking just to play music with anyone in general. It's been a long time since I've played with anyone and would love to get back into it asap!
PS I don't live in Wrexham but it's the closest city I could think of that would allow me to complete this profile!
