Influences
Growing up, I would religiously watch the music channel, blast the stereo or steal my older sister’s iPod just to hear some Rn’B, Hip Hop or Neo Soul. Rihanna, Alicia Keys, and Beyoncé were my biggest influences, along with many known Rn’B artists at the time.
The artists I listen to now have really allowed me to lay down my vibe. I listen to a lot of Erykah Badu, Ms. Lauryn Hill, Solange, Free Nationals, SZA, Jhene Aiko, etc. Very smooth-flowing, soulful and uplifting music! That’s what I fu*k with.
