SEEKING
Band to Join.ABOUT
Many years playing in Classic Rock bands, both in the U.K and abroad. Touring and recording experience. Have transport and good gear.
It's not so much about the given style of music....It's more about the feel and the chemistry generated.
I've done the hungry, ambitious, fame thing....I am looking for a genuine "put the effort in and enjoy the result" tight but loose (that great vibe that the Faces, early Black Crowes had going on) enjoyable band to rehearse/hang with and play some occasional quality gigs ....I don't think that I'm dreaming ....I am sure that these bands/musicians do exist ? I am an idealist but why not strive to be as good as you can make it be.....I've never subscribed to "That'll do"

Influences
Influential Bass players would be :- McCartney (Beatles era), Ronnie Lane, Roger Glover, John Paul Jones, Mars Cowling, Dave Pegg, Glenn Hughes, Chris Squire, Geddy Lee, John Giblin, Leon Wilkeson, Johnny Colt, Bob Daisley, James Jamerson, Duck Dunn, Bob Babbit etc etc etc,
I have very eclectic musical influences.
Bands :- I was brought up on the Mod / Rocker 60's revolution (older brother and sister). I developed my playing experience/style in 70's-80's rock/metal bands.
Classic hard rock/rhythm and blues with feel and groove is my default setting although I am happy to diversify and have the experience to do so.
