ABOUT

Hi - I am new to England and interested in meeting singers and instrumentalists - people with some background in theory, reading and ear training, and/or education in jazz or classical would be best suited, although this is not strictly necessary. Musicianship and passion for music would be most important, and it won't be a jazz band. I am a vocalist/composer/multi-instrumentalist looking to write and arrange original pieces which draw from all genres but have a popular and maybe even a commercial appeal! Might be a tall order, but in any case serious recording, gigging, and perhaps touring would be the intention. Composers, songwriters, 20th century experimentalists, "worldies", folkies and improvisers welcome. Please check my influences for a further idea. Thank you.
