I'm a decent rhythm/riff guitarist (which I play very regularly), and a decent bass player (I started on the bass 34 years ago).
At the moment I'm really interested in songwriting, studio/recording projects - style: punk, americana, indie. This could lead to gigs if we get some good songs down.
I'm not so interested in a pure covers band - I'd rather write and perform original songs, or adapt covers to go with the band's style

Influences
I'm into lots of stuff: alt.country, some punk/indie (from SLF to Green Day), Pavement, Super Furry Animals, Tom Waits, David Bowie, Iggy Pop, Steve Earle, The Fall, Wedding Present. Fairly diverse in other words - I'm a music lover.
I'm also a big fan of Americana / alt. country - such as Son Volt, Wilco, Hiss Golden Messenger, Lord Huron
