Do you want to make a career in music? Greg Gordon and the Paparazzi are recruiting a guitarist and bass player to complete our line up with the aim to make it big.

About the band...
Greg Gordon is the front man, and this band is his vision. Greg, a graduate of the Brighton Institute of Modern Music, is 22 years old, lives in Spitalfields and has plenty of experience as a front man. Having been the front man of a band which reached the Xfm Battle of the Bands finals whilst at university, he decided to leave university and concentrate solely on making a career in music. Greg has already managed to fill the position of drummer, who is another very experienced and talented musician.

About the music...
A strong set of 15 songs has already been written, the music has a retro pop feel and draws on influences from the likes of The Beatles, XTC, Elvis Costello and The Cars. You can listen to a couple of the songs on the bare bones of the MySpace page that we have set up (bear in mind that the page is currently solely for potential bandmates to hear the songs - we don't really have no friends!). It is, understandably, crucial that you like the music and believe it has the potential to be successful, we are taking this very seriously and have given up a lot to make this the centre of our worlds, we will expect our new bandmates to do the same! What we're looking for....
We're looking for a guitarist (to share rhythm and lead) and a bass player. There is one caveat, you will need to be able to sing! A big part of our retro sound relies on tight three part harmonies, so being able to supply backing vocals is very important. You don't need to be a fresh, young thing, you just need to be talented.

The image...
The look we're going for is a clean cut, suited and booted type of thing.

A final note...
We're aware that this advert might make us look, how should we put it, anal and pedantic! In reality we're laid back, funny (in our humble opinion!) easy to get along with guys but we believe getting the right line up for this band is absolutely paramount for any future success. We're willing for this part to take as long as it takes until we feel we have the right band to make it big. So do excuse the serious tone of this ad, it's just that the future of Greg Gordon and the Paparazzi relies on the right people.
