Influences
Van Halen, Def Leppard, ACDC, Judas Priest (or any 70s/80s rock band really, I've probably heard them all.) I love more modern rock/metal bands like Avenged Sevenfold, Alter Bridge, Disturbed, Stone Sour, Dragonforce, Nightwish and anything along those lines. Pop punk and punk in general is also a big influence on me as that's what I started playing when I first learned guitar, so anything along the lines of Green Day, Offspring, Blink 182 is familiar territory. I do love playing straight up pop music as well from time to time from a wide range of time periods (anything from Beatles, to Bee Gees, to Bruno Mars, and especially random dancy hits from the 90s.)
I'm also massively in love of video game music and music for TV. Listening to music like that has massively impacted the way I write and arrange songs personally.
