I'm Greta Aurora - a poet and spoken word performer looking for a guitarist to collaborate with. My poetry is dark and sensual, and I’m after a melancholic yet dramatic, psychedelic sound. I’m a huge fan of 60s/70s psychedelic and progressive rock, and I also love jazz and fusion. It’s not absolutely necessary that you share the exact same musical interests, but it would probably be helpful.
What matters to me the most is that you enjoy experimenting with different approaches and exploring the relationship between spoken word and music. Ideally, I’d like to find someone who’s interested in collaborating long-term, working on recordings and occasionally performing live.
I’ve already released an EP, titled Dying Venus, which it’s on Spotify and Bandcamp. Some of the musicians I’ve previously worked with are still on board, but my goal is to find a primary collaborator (ideally a guitarist) who I can work closely and explore new ideas with.
