For me it’s all about playing live when I join a band (I live and breath playing a cool guitar groove/riff). I’ve been playing for longer than I care to tell – still young enough to rock out though. My influences are the Blues/Rock/R&B/Soul/Funk greats. When I say R&B I refer to likes of James Brown, Otis Reading, Tina Turner, Stevie Wonder etc. but this can bleed over to Soul too. Not into modern R&B although there are some great soul singers/bands around today that are just as awesome.

So I’m looking for a band to join with committed band members who do their homework between rehearsals. The type of band I am interested in would be a function band who also occasionally does pub gigs/festivals too. Am I asking for too much?

The sound files I have uploaded are from my last band which had a gritty rocky edge to it which is really the sound I love (hence why I formed that band :)) However, I'm generally open to other styles to some degree.
