Been playing guitar since I was 14 off and on, music is my biggest passion in life alongside computing.
Would love to hook up with some local musicians and make something interesting and creative or to just jam with some powerchords blasting out of amps.
Eventually would like to record some songs and distribute online while playing the odd live gig.
I'm essentially a geek so I enjoy messing around with recording and mixing as well as doing more complex composition but the main thing is just finding somewhere near by to jam with and make some music.

MUSIC
-
The Afterlife
The Afterlife Genre: Other
Short little piece messing around with arpeggios in an atmospheric way
-
Fat cat blues
Fat cat blues Genre: Blues
Apologies for the extremely cheesy title (my wife chose it - by looking around the room until she saw our pet cat sitting there). 12 bar blues shuffle played with 2 guitar tracks and a drum machine, again a style demo
-
Dead Pharoah
Dead Pharoah Genre: Metal
An Egyptian-sounding death metal track messing around with the double harmonic minor
-
The penis song
The penis song Genre: Alternative
A parody/joke song I wrote and recorded years ago with explicit sexual content that will almost certainly offend. I wrote the first verse of the lyrics and the music, an old friend performed bass and vocals.
-
Random rushed metal test
Random rushed metal test Genre: Metal
Random metal track I knocked up as a demo of my general style, not very polished
-
The Village
The Village Genre: Classical
Soundtrack for a retro-style RPG game I was working on but never finished, completely original composition produced using MIDI. This is intended as background music on loop while the player explores a village location.
-
The Valley
The Valley Genre: Electronic
An experiment in heavily edited and effects-laden guitars to try and create atmosphere. This is meant to invoke the image of a dark valley at night
