ABOUT
Experienced Blues /Blues Rock /Americana musician in SE London with many gigs and a few albums under his belt, looking for a new band or regular jam with like-minded artists. Great at improvising and happiest playing 'blues-ey' tunes.
I'm primarily a vocalist and harmonica player - I also play a little guitar here and there. Most of my music history is in Blues and Americana bands (Rory Gallagher, Larkin Poe), but I've also fronted a Blues-Rock covers band (The Black Keys, Thin Lizzy) and currently sing with alternative mens choir - Chaps Choir. Over the years I've also worked as a session musician and guested in countless bands ranging from alternative /indie to soul and funk, to country /folk.
I've experience songwriting and have written and recorded a few dozen originals over the years. Particularly good at writing lyrics and helping bandmates turn a rough idea into a gig-ready song.
SE London based, and work 2 days a week in the city. Happy to travel a little bit for rehearsals, jams and of course gigs!
