I'm a songwriter looking to work on finishing some song ideas with a singer and producer and ideally put them on streaming platforms under an artist name and try and build an audience.
I'm imagining something very catchy and fresh sounding but without any specific parameters on our sound except the music we create would appeal to an audience that also likes artists like Olivia, Chappell and Charli but with influences from the past as such as ELO, Leonard Cohen, and 80's pop stars like The Human League and Nik Kershaw as well as current artists....
...With the audio I’ve uploaded - DON’T LAUGH!! – I know I’m no singer or king of melody – but rather than put some lyrics here cold - I thought better some ‘sketches’ to try and put across some ideas is a better option, hence the uploaded audio, the melodies are just the best I could come up with that seemed to fit some audio I found with a possible feel that suited the songs emotions.
‘Happy Armageddon’ – is a big, up, Saturday night party song and ‘Scraps’ the contrasting side of the project, 'poignant melancholy'.
