Drums.ABOUT
This is my acoustic band, playing Americana mainly, plus a few Scots tunes.
I'm looking for a rock rhythm section to start a modern folk band with a rawer sound: If you listen to The Young Dubliners, for example, you'll hear what they have done with Irish music. I want to do the same for Scottish tunes, and really bring them to life.

EQUIPMENT
We run a portable Yamaha PA (600 watts) which takes everything apart from the bass, which goes through a Hartke. We use wedge monitors and LED stage lights.
The bass is a short-scale Epiphone, the guitar is a Martin and the Mandolin a Tonewood from The Music Room in Yorkshire, with an under-saddle pick-up. I also sometimes play my Ovation geetar.
For vocals we use Shure and EV.
