ABOUT

A Singer primarily, I enjoy putting on a show, I come from both a Classical (training in being an Opera Singer) and a Contemporary background as a musician. Been producing my own music for a while, and primarily write music using a piano. I am looking for an existing band to join while I move myself to Glasgow.

I am very career focused and looking for musicians with the same ambition and a clear goal and focus, who are willing to practice and not flake, I would like to be able to gig as soon as I can.

Influences

My tastes vary extremely, many influences come from different sides. I usually go for darker music to suit my voice, but the genre could be anything, Jazz/Blues to Electronica to Metal, it doesn't really matter, as long as it entertains a crowd and not just ourselves.

Baroque/Classical/Romantic: Enjoy Operas from W.A. Mozart and G. Verdi, Mostly focus on arias and songs that have a dark undertone to them given that my voice type is Bass Baritone as a classical singer. My voice range is D2 to G5 (~G4-G5 last octave passagio between chest and head)

Contemporary: At an extreme, had some time in a Prog band as a vocalist, I enjoy writing lyrics to fit around time signature changes, probably the most complex music I have written for so it certainly shaped the way I write and understand my music now. But as of late, more focused on simpler and fun music that appeals to everyone.
