Hurricane Jim is a melodic, heavy rock band from Bury St Edmunds Suffolk.
We formed several years ago but like many had a forced hiatus due to COVID etc.
We're looking to get back in action and need a solid, experienced drummer especially, and are also open to a 2nd guitarist and keyboard player.
We have a decent set/albums worth of decent original material, and have some demos available for you to hear. Once the band is fully together, we'll be looking to record.
There are a mix of influences from stoner rock, to pop, to more heavy stuff, as well as indie. I always describe the music as Motorhead crossed with The Beatles. The two of us founder members are prolific writers, and anyone joining will have an equal say in the direction of the music/writing.

Age wise we are in our 40s, and I'd call our level of commitment casually serious.
