The past ten plus years I have be privileged to play with an awesome band but the drummer is now in Portugal and so we has disbanded. I firmly believe the bass to be a supportive instrument and needs to sit in the pocket with the drummer. Started playing at age 16. I have always played bass and adore the instrument. I have covered Deep Purple, Led Zeppelin, Cream, Yes, most pop bands of the 70's and early 80's, disco, funk, and some reggae (Bob Marley songs). I like blues/rock fusion e.g. Free, Whitesnake and I respect influencers such as Pino Palladino, Andy Fraser and Chris Squire. I have played as a full-time pro in a Mecca house band and as a semi-pro in pubs and clubs. I have some studio experience. Not too fond of modern heavy rock (with some exceptions), Irish jigs and cheesy pop. Love a good melody and vocal harmony.
