Self taught guitarist. Enjoy listening and playing lots of different genres of music but play primarily rock & metal as I am most passionate about rock & roll baby. Got obsessed with learning everything about guitars from the age of 11, was in several bands in school and college have played live have jammed with very talented musicians from all over the world. Studied music technology in college and was an Audio Visual Engineer for 4 years for a big audio visual company so have a high level knowledge of the music industry as well as good connections.

Influences
Listened to learned and played a LOT of classic rock so know my classics before moving on to my emo phase playing and listening to a lot of pop rock, emo rock, pop punk etc. Got really into metal in college so explored a lot of heavier music and electronic music. Favourite band was Avenged Sevenfold so heavily influenced by Synyster Gates as well as some other greats such as Michael Paget, Petrucci, Zakk Wylde etc. Got heavily involved in the York music scene after moving there for my job and explored a lot of other genres which have expanded my knowledge and expertise on guitar but also other instruments that i play. The said genres were funk & soul, jazz, neo soul, blues, a lot of 80s music etc. As of recent I'm back listening to a lot of rock and metal seeing what's new on the scene. Also over the past 2 years I've explored the UK rave scene got to know and hung out with a lot of DJs which has expanded my knowledge even further. Always learning, always exploring, always looking to hone my skills. Not as confident playing live as I would like but always looking for opportunities to get better
