Putting together a new band. Going for a moody jazzy trip hop vibe. A little bit melancholy, somewhat sultry. Think mellow nights in a dark smokey bar. Late nights with nowhere to go.
Starting from scratch and looking for any combo of strings/brass/wind instruments/percussion/drums. Age and sex completely irrelevant. More interested in finding people that can create the right vibe and instinctively know what to play (and when not to). Backing vocals are a bonus, especially bass/baritone/tenor to complement mine.
Practices in the Folkestone area, aim to start gigging as soon as possible. Can start with a skeleton band if needed and let it evolve over time. Are you interested?
