Anyone up for forming a retro soul / old school funk Band?
Creative Drummer here with lots of experience, not in a rush to get out there gigging - just want to find the right musicians that can groove and improvise. Hopefully re-create that soulful jazzy vibe of the 60's/70's.
Maybe taking familiar tunes and flipping them - giving a funk/soul/jazz twist (Scary Pockets Style!)
Looking to do rehearsals on weekend morning / midday is best for me at the moment - Cardiff or Treforest green rooms. (Any age considered, I’m 44)
