Hello! I'm Jacob, 17 years old from the dead centre of the UK. I've always stood out throughout my life; I grew up gay in a town where very little happens and always focused on my creative pursuits. I was surrounded by music throughout my childhood, being immersed into various genres that my parents and family listened to. This helped me develop an undying love of music. I love listening to music, singing songs, writing my own, music is a huge part of my life. My terrible vinyl-buying addiction is testament to that... I've been writing songs for about 4 years now. I taught myself to sing, play the piano (I'm learning the guitar), and produce music. I've recently worked with other producers to help develop my music and have had the best time! I think that if people heard my music they would understand and feel the love and passion I have for music. I write songs that people can relate to; honesty and emotion are what make a good song for me, and my music comes from the heart.

Influences
I am influenced throughout my music by the music I grew up surrounded by, including Blur, Kings of Leon and The Beatles, but also by more contemporary artists including Taylor Swift, Gracie Abrams and Lana Del Rey. Their songwriting is so raw.
