SEEKING
Band to Join, Flute, Other, Mandolin, Fiddle, Bagpipes, Accordion, Clarinet, Harp.ABOUT
Hey all, I've been a musician since I was 8 so most of my life. I started out on piano and then also picked up the guitar which were my main two instruments for years. I also picked up the mandolin at 14 after an Irish music session. I've written a whole load of songs in a singer-songwriter style but I've moved away from that over the past few years, and instead focus on traditional and world music, especially Scandinavian folk music.
My main instruments are cittern and folk flutes (Irish and Chinese), but I also dabble in oud, säckpipa (Swedish bagpipes) and Persian setar, so I'd love to find some people who are interested in experimenting with these kinds of sounds, maybe like a makeshift Silk Road Ensemble, and see what we can create
