I'm 18, went up to grade 4 piano when I was 11 and still have the basics. Self taught on drums and can do basic rhythm and a few intricate fills. Over lock down I taught myself to play ukulele and then branched out to guitar. With guitar I can play almost anything if given a few days to learn it. I can learn complicated songs note for note, but I prefer simpler songs which I can then improvise over.

Influences
When I started learning guitar I went through a big nirvana phase because the songs were easy but fun and the solos left enough dead space to learn how to improvise. I then went through a radiohead phase, which was good for learning more complicated songs. I learnt the acoustic rythemparts for paranoid android which taught me how to strum through all strings while only ringing one out and using the others as a sort of percussion. Right now I'm into alot of early muse which is helping me with my riffing and intricate solos.
