ABOUT

Hiya,

Been playing (on and off) for about 7 years in total...

Will play/do play most styles of music, not pigeon-holed that way... basically, If I like how it sounds, (regardless of style/genre) I'll play it... rock, jazz, blues, punk, reggae, glam-rock, country... anything really. If pushed and asked what "my bag" is then I'd have to say... classic rock/pop... all the oldie stuff... The Beatles, Hendrix, The Stones, Dylan, Beach Boys, Mamas and Papas, Zep etc, etc etc.... yep, a true child of the sixties/seventies I guess you could say.

Anyhoo... as I said, been playing for around 7 years now... and I'd say I'm "middling" at it... could be a lot better I think, if I was involved with other musicians. Playing with other folks tends to make you work at it a lot more. And it's a lot more fun too.

So... I'm looking to find other musically inclined folks, initially just to hang-out and jam with. Would also like to have a proper go at writing/recording some well arranged original material.

Recording a single guitar track of a tune you made up in a couple of minutes (using yer PC and Windows Movie-Maker) isn't exactly proper song writing now is it?... (guilty as charged)... LOL...

Ok, I'll probably add more later... but I think this gives you an idea about me and what/who I'm looking for at the mo... :-))
