Hi, I'm a published songwriter and pianist with a recording studio, rehearsal space possibilities and some experience in producing and developing bands, looking for a creative female singer and creative female guitarist to work with. I work alongside a number of other music professionals and can bring in other artists as necessary.
I can jam effectively, prefer playing standing up and playing by ear (although I can also read.)

I am currently looking for the voice for my new project and someone to re-voice some older material as well as a fairly powerful guitarist who enjoys both acoustic and electric stuff. I am happy to work with many different vocal artists, what's really important to me is the vocal quality and commitment to the project, which is feminist by implication rather than by stating the obvious . Recording and song development would be once weekly, and gigging (when we are ready) would hopefully be at least the same.

My current project will be a soul album/band/tour. I'm aiming for a modern take on soul, moving occasionally towards R and B, although I also love writing classics with just piano and vocals. I have also released two albums and a number of other tracks in different genres, including pop, reggae, funk, rock, and electro styles.

I'd like to work with someone who can add a special feel to my tracks - and happy to have your input. I'm also keen to get some of my earlier recorded projects out on the road, and would develop a reliable schedule towards whatever goals we choose. Live performance is an important part of my projects, so whoever takes this on would need to commit to regular gigging.
