Recently moved to Runcorn, I am 48 years old and a veteran of over 1000 paid gigs with a very successful cover and events band back in London.
I am looking:
- to form a wedding and events band
- to join an existing covers group. I am happy to play any genre except the heavier types of metal.
- to get into a reggae band - I was in a very successful reggae band in South Africa when I was in my 20s. I am a kick ass reggae drummer.
I am a full time drum and ukulele teacher and I can do passable backing vocals while drumming. I am looking for band mates who are good enough on their instruments to not need endless rehearsals and who have a professional attitude and are not prima donnas.

Influences
Led Zeppelin's John Bonham has been my biggest influence, but I have a wide range of inspirers such as: the Doors, Billy Joel, Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers, Fleetwood Mac, the Beatles, Bob Marley, Police, Dire Straits, Pink Floyd - though my London Band covered virtually none of these. We were a typical cover band doing everything from Elvis to whatever is on the radio now and were together for 17 years before my move up here due to Covid.
