Self-taught on the acoustic guitar and old school organ and can knock out a song on piano/keyboard. I can read music for the keyboard and with the guitar I can learn to play a song. I played solo at events in the first 5 - 10 years as a musician then joined an established covers band as lead vocalist and had a great few years with them and then family came along and priorities changed. Now ready to start the process of getting back out there, even if it's just for fun and therapy lol

Influences
Blimey, where to start with this one! The only music I'm resistant to is opera and rap based stuff. If I was pushed I would say I like music from the heart and soul that tells a story. Bands like wet wet wet who used strings and brass in their music, REM, I've been loving Ray Lamontagne for the last few years, Eva Cassidy soothes my soul, Daniel Beddingfield who worked wonders with lyrics, simpleness of Ed Sheeran, I grew up with my parents music ranging from Leo Sayer and David Essex to the Carpenters and my older brothers punk, late 80's dance, OMD Tracey chapman and many more. .
