Myself and a drummer, both very experienced - are forming a new dynamic, high-level, loosely New-Wave/Alternative influenced band offering an excellent opportunity for (any gender, age, ethnicity etc.): charismatic front-person/vocalist; guitarist; versatile keyboard player; bass guitarist. Song list is in place, rehearsals will be weekly in Nottingham on a Thursday evening and some Sundays. Artists currently included in the list are: early Blockheads, Joe Jackson, Talking Heads, Elvis Costello, Dandy Warhols, Waterboys and many more. With room for creative re-interpretations. The aim is to work quite quickly to get two sets together, do a few gigs. record/video/promote, then move on to festivals and better venues.
