So I'm not sure if I'm very good at explaining myself. I love poetry and voice/words and emotion and music that conveys that emotion.
My music is kind of folk I guess with a bit of attitude..... PJ Harvey, Nick Cave, Patti Smith, Velvet Underground..... also more 'folky' people Leonard Cohen, Beth Orton, Joni Mitchell etc.
I write these diary entry type songs.... they need to be simple but exciting.... I've never managed to record anything that kind of captures this.... sort of want every addition to add to the energy/not kill the track....sounds obvious. :). Sensitivity I guess is important....
I'm interested in trying some different recording experiments to see if it can be done. It would be amazing if you were interested in being involved or helping or if you know other musicians who might be interested too.
Personally I've got a music degree and am very into music/art etc. but I don't care about any of that...I want to make music that expresses the songs and moves people.....
