It's been too long. It's time I got my arse into gear and into a band. I'm 40, a socio-anarchist and way to angry at current state of affairs not to write about it.
I'm mainly looking for punk, ideally political and brash.

Influences
80/90's hardcore and skate punk. A bit of pop punk, the early stuff anyway. Think black flag, bad religion, no use for a name, fear, dead Kennedys, nofx, lagwagon. The decendants are an enormous part of my musical journey as are against me.
Currently I listen to quite a bit of folk punk, days and days, Laura Jane Grace, The mountain goats, as well as plenty of riot grrl and more modern artists Like the lambrini girls.
I also am a huge fan of nordic metal, wardruna, hielung, skäld etc.

EQUIPMENT
My main squeeze is my 2000 Westfield pbass. It's not standard, has fender pick ups and bridge, fretless neck and I upgraded the electrics in the late 00's when I did the fretboard. I have an aria pro 2 around as well as an old stagg pj yamaha copy in bits.
Kit wise I run a boss tu2 and a laney rbc 300watt combo.
