Nov 2024 UPDATE:

Guitarist in established pub rock MLC3 band based near Northampton.

We are looking for a competent ryth/lead guitarist, preferably with some vocal abilities, to sign on for our 2025 season.

We play for fun in pubs, local festivals, and whilst we play for enjoyment, we are serious about what we do. We rehearse weeky and optimally are looking to play 15 - 20 gigs a year.

SOLO STUFF:

I am an autodidactic musician, songwriter and engineer based in the middle of England.

I'm interested in the creation of original music. My guiding principle is that I try and create the kind of music that I myself would want to hear.

Music fascinates me, as does the song as an artform. I believe in strong lyrical content. I am interested in how songs translate into visual ideas and I would very much like to collaborate with anyone who is also interested in this.

I am interested in collaborating with people who can play and are technically good; but I’m also very interested in ideas, lateral thinking and creativity, so rough edges are not a barrier for me.

If I’m hanging around here, it’s probably because I’m seeking people out with a specific project in mind. At the same time, any kindred spirits please do feel free to get in touch.

Please be serious about what you do, but also please don’t take yourself too seriously. I am interested in making the best original music that I can. Please also have some sort of a sense of humour!
