I played music in an indie band from 1996-2011. I played Guitar and Bass throughout the years.
During lockdown I started writing 10 songs which are a kind of downtempo, ambient, grime based vibe - I play instruments but for this particular project I used GarageBand and spent 4 years finishing them off between work etc.
I finally finished these 10 songs just before Xmas and my goal is to get a vocalist in who can really bring them to life and who has a vibe for spoken/rap and singing - I guess similar to The Streets kind of style. I think spoken / rap verses and big choruses will work well.
The goal is a YouTube channel for these 10 songs so we will need to record videos as well. I have a Discord channel to discuss further if anyone is interested.
