ABOUT

I've been playing since the early '70s, I major on fast, fluent lead guitar, songwriting, recording and producing.

I have a large cache of original material in folk/rock | rock | blues styles. I record at home and write in all styles; some stuff can be heard at https://soundcloud/jim-oldfield/

I also have a page, JimJams (Pointyaxe) with some stuff on it.

* Thy Kingdom Come was written/recorded in my home studio.

** Bluest Blues cover was just a test of my new Kemper tones, jammed to a backing track

*** Parisienne Walkways open mic was played through my mobile phone, using an iRig... hence the struggle trying to change voices on the moby screen!!!
