Influences
When I started playing in punk bands, Reggae was a big influence as the bass was usually high in the mix. I then started listening to Motown, soul and funk. The bass players I aspire to are: James Jameson. George Porter. Norman Watt Roy. Tina Weymouth. Carole Kaye. Nathan East. Donald Duck Dunn to name a few.
