Hi, I'm John. Guitarist in my late 20s. Moved to the Chichester / Bognor area summer 2009 and now looking to put a band together. I sang lead vocals in my last band, but would prefer to focus solely on playing guitar this time. I want to play original material - blues, soul, classic / indie rock, and I'm happy to contribute lyrics as well as musical ideas. I don't want a record deal, but I want to gig regularly and play as well as any pro band (just without the stress!). I'd like to try something with a more bluesy, soulful, rocky feel this time, but these songs will give you an idea of what I can do...

Manic Street Preachers, The Clash, Sean Costello, Mclusky / Future of the Left, The Smiths, Rolling Stones, all sorts of blues (Bluesbreakers with Clapton, Cream, Fleetwood Mac with Peter Green, Robert Cray, SRV, Gary Moore, etc etc - even John Mayer's more recent stuff!) - I could go on for a long time but these seem the most relevant for now...
