I’m usually a guitarist but am switching to the dark side and picking up the low end…BASS. Want to get a group of like minded people together, rebels, outlaws, free thinkers and hard workers who have something to shout about in response to the times we currently inhabit. I’m tired of hearing music following similar veins on the radio and would like (doesn’t every band?!) to attempt something heartfelt and unafraid. What I need first and foremost is a very talented singer songwriter who also plays guitar - acoustic, electric or both. We can then move forward with finding others to join. I don’t want any limits in what we consider to be useful and musical in the effort to shape our sound but I would like to draw on the general idea of folk music as a reflection of our ordinary day to day existence and experience.
Will put that I can gig once a week to begin with as an a father in full time employment but this can change once things get going.
