ABOUT

I’ve been playing guitar since I was about 10 years old and always loved finding other people to share knowledge with. I have been in a couple of bands over the years but unfortunately they have all fizzled out with life commitments. I used to host an open mic night which was a good way of meeting new people.
I’ve felt like I’ve hit a bit of a wall recently and I think it’s down to having no body to play with so give me a shout if you’re up for a jam!

Influences

I think it’s funny how your influences change over the years but I think that’s a massive part of how your own sound progress’s. It started out for me with everyone’s famous influences like the first time I heard of Jimmy Page, SRV and Hendrix, but then I switched to acoustic for a number of years when I heard Ben Howard’s Every kingdom album and just went on a mad learning spree. It definitely helped as he had so many new techniques to dive into and I was still pretty new to guitar too at the time.

EQUIPMENT

Had a pretty long list of gear at one time but seen as I’m just a bedroom rocker for now it seems.. I scaled down a bit, quality over quantity!
A few reliable electric guitars
My main acoustic and I do have a couple others of friends wanted to pick one up.
Just the one little fender blues junior amp which does me nicely!
