I play banjo, 12 & 6 string guitar (plus oddments - see below). Broadly folk-ish/acoustic, with a dash of americana thrown in. I write songs; can sing a bit.
Original songs (my own and others if I like them. Co-writing would be cool!) plus a few traditional folk numbers. Occasional electronics and other excursions & effects, but the more acoustic sound is core.
- To perform in arts spaces, folk clubs, alternative venues; festivals. Not chasing money or crowd-pleasing (nothing wrong with that but boozy pub gigs are not my thing). Open mic’s to keep momentum, experience & learning.
