Band to Join.

Hi all, I'm 49 an am looking at getting back into music after a very long break. I used to sing and play guitar in a pub duo, with electronic drum tracks (which I always hated), so would love to have a crack at playing with a live band. I used to be a reasonably good singer some 20 years ago, and my guitar playing is OK. I prefer to play both rhythm and lead rather than specialising in on or the other, as I love guitarists like SRV and Hendrix who do it all. I'm married with 2 kids and a we both work, so although I'm very reliable, I can't give the sort of comittment that gigging bands probably need.

Influences

The stuff I would like to play is SRV, Gary Moore, Spin Doctors, Muse, Hendrix, Led Zep. However the stuff I listen to now and then is stuff like Radiohead, TheThe, Nick Cave, AC/DC, Coldplay, Keane, The Cult, The Darkness, Aerosmith, Doves, Elbow, Evanescence, Genesis, Yes, Pink Floyd, Prodigy, etc etc

EQUIPMENT

Cort electric guitar with some wicked Texas Special pickups.
A small Bandit Blazer amp.
Pedals - T-Rex Moller Distortion, DL8 Hard Wire Delay and a Droptune
An old SM52 mic from the ol days.
3 different types of plectrums and some leads.
