Started playing the Keyboard very young (7yrs) was not a very big fan. Then switched to playing drums at 10years old and enjoyed the experience till i was 18 years and had to travel for university. I did not play any music at all from 18 till when i picked up the bass at 22 years old. I have since fallen in love with the instrument. My Bass journey has made me understand music more and how to communicate with other musicians, to know when to play, when not to play and every other thing. A bass player is most of the time the least noticeable musician, but without the bass there is some lack of depth and groove. I still enjoy learning playing crazy groves in my own time, but there is nothing like playing a solid grove and just holding the song down. Not everything is about playing chops and lots of licks.
